West of Sloane is a luxury couture house marrying British pedigree and corseted tailoring with unapologetic Texan audacity to create modular bridal occasion wear that lives far beyond the wedding weekend. Born of London’s atelier discipline and inspired by Texas’ love of drama and flair, each design is custom handmade-to-order and meticulously constructed to flatter and empower real women. Signature Western-inflected details, refined structure, and removable elements allow every piece to shift, transform, and restyle- turning a dress into a look that lives for many life moments.
OUR JOURNEY
Founded after a serendipitous collaboration between Elizabeth Grace and Monica Millington, West of Sloane grew from a single bespoke wedding gown into a distinct design partnership rooted in contrast. Elizabeth brings decades of couture technique and a mastery of sculptural form, while Monica contributes a sharp creative instinct shaped by branding, storytelling, and a fearless personal aesthetic. Together, they set out to create high quality bespoke couture pieces that truly bring each bride’s vision to life.
As a small atelier based in Singapore, we are deeply proud of our couture process and our exceptionally talented, experienced team of tailors who craft each garment by hand. Because every piece is created in house, West of Sloane maintains complete oversight of construction and rigorous quality control from first fitting to final stitch. This hands on approach allows us to deliver garments of remarkable precision and integrity, often with quicker turnarounds than larger houses that outsource production overseas, while preserving the intimacy and artistry that bespoke couture demands.

Elizabeth Grace, Co-founder and Design Director
Raised in Ireland and creatively shaped in London, Elizabeth Grace found her rhythm in the world of couture long before West of Sloane was born. After beginning her career in the heart of London’s fashion scene, she made her way to Singapore, where she has spent over a decade crafting extraordinary wedding gowns for women who want something truly their own.
Her love of craftsmanship lives in every piece, creating modular bridal and occasion pieces that feel timeless yet alive, designed to move, transform, and be worn in more than one unforgettable moment.
Monica Millington, Co-founder and Creative Director
Monica Millington’s world has always revolved around storytelling. With a background in branding and digital media, she built a devoted community by sharing her life through fashion, beauty, motherhood, and entrepreneurship. When she began planning her Texas wedding and collaborated with Elizabeth on her own gown, a vision took shape that would become West of Sloane.
Today, Monica leads the creative heart of the brand, shaping its aesthetic, voice, and emotional resonance. Deeply committed to intentional design, she believes in creating garments slowly and thoughtfully, made to order and made to last, so they become part of a woman’s story for years to come.
